hey guys here’s a doodle of a really weird-lookin’ horse
Illustration of an Egyptian myth for class! Here’s a quick summary:
Ra saw that there were both good people and evil people in the world. He sent down Sekhmet, the goddess of vengeance, to kill all of the evil people. However, greatly enjoying her violent rampage, Sekhmet decided it would be fun to also kill many of the good people. At night Ra mixed beer and pomegranate juice together to look like blood. When she awoke, Sekhmet thought that the liquid was blood and drank great amounts of it until she became very drunk. While drunk and weak, Ra used his powers to transform her into Hathor - the goddess of love.
I made a treeeeee! Working on a caracal now.
Colorssss! Still struggling a bit, what do you guys think?

This is my competitive scholarship portfolio for MICA - composed of work from my major (illustration) and my studio concentration (animation).
Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately guys - classes have started up and they’re still in that sort of buy-materials-and-sketch-thumbnails stage but once I get some things completed and documented I’ll post more often!
(Also this thing is a competitive scholarship for MICA - I’m pretty sure I’ve posted it all on tumblr before + I don’t use Behance much but thought I’d let ya’ll know I’m still alive.)
